Quanterix Simoa HD-X Analyzer
Overview
Simoa (Single Molecular Array) HD-X analyzer at the IPC is one of the most sensitive automated bead-based immunoassay platforms with multiplexing and custom assay properties.
Technology
- Paramagnetic beads coupled to capture antibodies are incubated with the sample analyte of interest and detection antibodies are added.
- The beads are coupled to an immunocomplex consisting of the capture antibody-analyte-detection antibody.
- The individual beads are trapped in femtoliter-sized wells along with a fluorogenic enzyme substrate, those that are bound by the immunocomplex are detected by fluorescence that is converted to a digital read.
